The world's first virtual ghostwriting experience
This isn't another memoir app. It's a ghostwriter.
Over twenty years, bestselling ghostwriter Teena Lyons has drawn out the stories of chief executives, public figures and people whose names you would know. She has built that craft into Memoir — so it can guide you through writing your own, in your own time.
Meet Christina
The world's first virtual ghostwriting experience, built on the craft of bestselling ghostwriter Teena Lyons. Christina — Teena's ghostwriting agent, trained on twenty years of her craft — guides you day to day, and the real Teena meets your cohort in person along the way. There's no manual and nothing to learn. Watch Christina explain it, then tell her your name and begin.
The Promise
In a few months, the person you love will hold a beautifully printed book in their hands, with their name on the cover. They will be an author. Their voice, their turns of phrase, the stories told only at the kitchen table — set down properly, and kept for the generations who come after.
Why Teena
For two decades, Teena Lyons has been the writer behind the books — the one trusted to find a person's voice and commit it faithfully to the page.
She has written for chief executives and entrepreneurs, for politicians and broadcasters, for champions of sport and figures whose memoirs reached the bestseller lists — though discretion means most will never carry her name. What unites them is a craft she has refined over more than eighty books: the patience to listen, the ear for how a person actually speaks, and the judgement to know which stories matter.
That same method now sits at the heart of Memoir. There is one of Teena, and only so many rooms she can sit in — which is why, until now, her craft has been the preserve of those who could commission a book outright. So she has done something new: she has built her method into a guide you can talk to whenever you like, and she meets every cohort in person to teach, answer questions and read your work. Her questions, her structure, her editorial judgement — none of it simplified. Simply opened up.
Teena's bespoke ghostwriting begins at £35,000. Memoir makes the same methodology — her questions, her structure, her editorial hand — accessible at a fraction of that.
The Journey
There is nothing to install and nothing to figure out. You arrive with your memories; you leave with a finished book. Between the two sits a guided journey, designed by Teena: Christina — her ghostwriting agent, trained on twenty years of her craft — to talk to day to day, and the real Teena to meet your cohort in person along the way.
It starts the way every good memoir does — by talking. Your guide is Christina, Teena's ghostwriting agent — trained on twenty years of her interviewing craft and on hand whenever you are: late evening, a quiet Sunday, ten minutes between things. She asks the questions Teena would ask, listens, and gently follows the thread.
From those conversations, chapters take shape — drafted in Teena's editorial style, with her judgement about pace, structure and what to keep. You read, you reflect, you correct a name. The book grows in your own voice.
You write alongside others. Fortnightly live sessions with Teena bring your cohort together to share progress, learn the craft and find encouragement in good company.
The journey ends with an object: a beautifully produced hardback, professionally typeset and bound, with your name on the spine. Copies for the family, a place on the shelf, a story that will outlast all of us.
The Cohort
Most people who set out to write their memoir never finish it. They begin with feeling and falter without structure — or simply without company. Memoir is built the other way around.
Every fortnight, your cohort meets with Teena herself — in person, live. This is where the real Teena answers your questions, teaches the craft and reads the room: themed sessions on finding a beginning, writing about the people we have lost, telling the truth kindly, ending well. It is a school as much as a service — and a reason to keep going all the way to the last page.
Enrolment
Two ways to enrol, each a complete experience from first conversation to finished book. The difference is the depth of editorial attention along the way.
The complete journey, from first interview to bound hardback, guided by Teena's methodology and her fortnightly cohort sessions.
Everything in the Guided Memoir, with dedicated editorial attention from a senior ghostwriter in Teena's own network, and a finished book made to last.
Teena's bespoke ghostwriting service starts at £35,000. Memoir makes her methodology accessible to everyone.
The Gift of Being Heard
An enrolment makes an extraordinary gift — for a milestone birthday, an anniversary, a retirement, or simply because the stories should be kept before they fade. You enrol on their behalf; we send a beautifully presented welcome, and the guided journey takes them gently from there. They need only talk.
Some gifts are enjoyed for a moment. This one lasts for generations.
